Happy Day for Wes!

Yes, I am posting about In-N-Out Burger for my dear hubby. Wes is a happy camper now that In-N-Out Burger is heading to Draper, UT. Have a mentioned that he loves In-N-Out Burger? Well, he does. I had never been to In-N-Out until I met Wes, and I remember the first time I walked in and saw just the few things on the menu, and thought, "that's it?" Now each time we travel to Cali, Vegas, or AZ, (and now St. George), Wes has already planned in advance when we will eat at In-N-Out (how many times, for what meals, etc), as it is one of the most important parts of the vacation. When we are driving along the highway, and Wes spots those red palm trees with the In-N-Out sign, he is like a boy at Christmas. It's truly adorable. It's funny how so many people know of Wes' love for In-N-Out, and they call him if they are ever eating at one. So, now that it is coming to the SL Valley, will it be as great? You know how sometimes things are better when they are out of town, and you can't have them whenever you want, just on a special occasions? Or more importantly, are Utahn's so obsessed with In-N-Out that we most likely won't be able to eat there for months, because the lines will be so long? I mean, have you ever been to Las Vegas when there's a BYU or Utah Football game there? It's insane. It's like the entire stadium heads to In-N-Out after the game. One time while dining at In-N-Out, it happened to be the night that BYU played in the Las Vegas Bowl game (no, we weren't at the BYU game, we had just been in San Diego watching the Utes in their bowl game, and then drove to Vegas for a few days). Anyway, we were eating, and then all of a sudden the restaurant is jam packed full of the pesky Cougars. 'It just so happens' that Wes & I were wearing Utah apparel in honor of the Utes victory. So, this lady/Cougar fan, comes up to us, sits at our table (no we were not done eating), and tells us she wants to reserve this table, when we are done...awkward. And then says, "did you guys just come down here to cheer against BYU?" "Uh, no, we are not that pathetic, and actually have better things to do than to come to Vegas to cheer against BYU, puhleese," is what we wanted to say, but really we laughed in awkwardness, and told her that we had been in San Diego for the Utes. Anyway, here are some fun pics of In-N-Out. Oh ya, Wes enjoys a good pic of people talking bites of their food. Attractive, I know.

Sammy ventured and got the fries, 'animal style', not recommended!
