Happy 24th...Go Bees!

It has been an Earl family tradition to go to the Bee's/Buzz/Stinger's game (they change the name so often) each year for the 24th, and I love it. Here are some pics. I apologize to my family in advance. For some reason Wes finds great pleasure taking unannounced pictures of people right when they are taking a bite of their food (particularly hot dogs and hamburgers). Trust me, we have many of these types of pictures from In-n-Out Burger. Gotta love a delicious hot dog at a Baseball game.

A few fun facts...

1. Wes & Amy enjoy eating at Blimpie (Wednesday's are double punch day, and believe it or not, they have delicious cookies).
2. Wes & Amy love watching the 'Amazing Race' together, and wish we could be on the show (although it is likely Amy would have have a melt down with all the stress).
3. Wes can often be found watching the Travel Channel and the History channel.
4. Amy loves 'So You Think You Can Dance,' and can't wait for Wed., & Thurs. nights (Amy is trying to convince Wes to watch with her).
5. Wes has run a marathon (and Amy just "thinks" about doing it one day).
6. Wes' favorite movies are: Tommy Boy & The Shawshank Redemption.
7. Amy's favorite movie is Girls Just Want to Have Fun (classic childhood memories, watching this movie over and over again).

we've officially started a blog.

Wes and Amy are now officially bloggers. And I feel so lucky to have joined the world of blogging (instead of just reading others, which I truly enjoy). What a fun way to keep tabs on your own life as well as others.

Hmm, where to begin. Well, I guess just a quick update on the life of Weston and Amy:
Wes and I got married in January 2004 after meeting in Washington DC where we were both doing internships. Crazy that we had to travel across the country to meet when we grew up near each other, attended the same high school (although we were not there at the same time), and had many friends in common. We are currently living in the East Millcreek area, and love our home, neighborhood, and being close to family. We both graduated from the University of Utah, and are working full time. I work for the Utah Foster Care Foundation (recruiting foster/adoptive families), and Wes works for the University of Southern Nevada Pharmacy School (as their Accountant). Wes is also going back to school in August (@ the U of U of course) to get his MBA. Congrats and Good Luck to Wes!
