Finally...2008 Resolutions

RESOLUTE
res·o·lute [rez-uh-loot]–adjective
1. firmly resolved or determined; set in purpose, opinion or belief. Not hesitating or wavering.

*Well, I figured now that it is January 22nd, it is about time to buckle down and own up to the many resolutions I would like to make (they sure don't do any good, if they are just wandering around in your head, instead of on paper....It's time to create ownership and follow through).
Here we go:
1. Write more thank-you notes.
2. Make more time to spend time with others.
3. Read more books, and less magazines (except at the gym).
4. Learn how to use the crock pot ( I know, I know, everyone tells me how easy it is, but I think I need some guidance).
5. Spend more quality time with Wes, family, and friends.
6. De-clutter house (for starters...the upstairs part of the house. Don't even get me started on our downstairs).
7. Add to our food storage.
8. Women of Steel Triathlon-May 2008
9. Do more services
10. Begin tearing out the basement, and getting rid of belongings that aren't ours!! (hint, hint to any Earl family members that are ready this!)

Millcreek Canyon

We love Millcreek Canyon. We are so blessed to live minutes away from such a beautiful canyon. Wes & I took advantage of going up Millcreek to go snowshoeing...and what a treat. It was beautiful, quiet, peaceful, and so fun.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY-the big 4 years!

Today is our 4 year wedding anniversary. It's amazing how fast time flies...what a wonderful 4 years it has been with Wes.

Boyack's Christmas of Fun

This December has been super busy and so much fun.The best part is that Wes & I have spent practically 2 weeks together, non-stop. It has been so nice to have time off work (and school for Wes!) Wes & I headed to southern California on December 20th and stayed a couple of nights. We stayed in Anaheim, went to Disneyland, the Utah Bowl game (in San Diego), went shopping, and ate at In-N-Out Burger (of course). We then drove to Las Vegas (and had to battle the horrible traffic. I swear everyone and their dog was driving from Southern CA to Vegas on Saturday, December 22nd). The drive that usually takes 4 hours or so, took us about 7, ugh. It was quite painful to be at a dead stop on the freeway in the middle of the desert. But the good news, we made it. We went to a few shows, shopped, etc.., etc.. As much fun as Vegas is (for a day or so-max.), I sure get tired of all the smoke, gambling, nudity, etc. I really understand why it is called, "Sin City." Wes & I headed back to SLC on Christmas Eve, just in time to spend the holidays with our wonderful families. We had a great Christmas and feel so blessed.

(note: Amy's old school sandals with socks...I did not pack good walking shoes, and had to wear sandals to Disneyland. And b/c it was cold I had to wear socks...a big fashion faux pas, I know!)
Wes & Amy still excited about the Utes (as always, right?)
